Ten years ago, MODOC was created with a clear purpose: to modernize how anti-doping operations are planned, executed, and managed. From the outset, the platform was shaped to respond to real operational challenges faced by Anti-Doping Organizations, rather than theoretical system designs.

From Daily Operations to the World’s Biggest Stages

As MODOC matured, it became embedded in the day-to-day work of multiple ADOs while also proving its robustness at major international events. Over the years, the platform supported testing programs and operational coordination during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the Munich 2022 European Championships, and the most important skiing competitions of the FIS and successive World Athletics Championships.

These moments marked important steps in MODOC’s journey — validating its ability to scale, adapt to complex event environments, and operate under the highest levels of scrutiny.

Growing with Members Through Real-World Use

MODOC’s evolution has been driven by long-term collaboration with its members. Feedback from organizations working across different sports, regions, regulations, and event formats has continuously shaped how the platform functions. This client-led growth culminated in MODOC’s role supporting preparations toward recent global competitions, including the 2026 Milano–Cortina Winter Paralympic Games.

By remaining closely aligned with operational teams, MODOC has grown into a platform that supports both routine testing programs and the exceptional demands of major events.

Continuous Technological Innovation

Alongside operational growth, MODOC has also evolved significantly from a technological perspective. Over the years, the platform has been continuously rebuilt and upgraded to incorporate modern architectures, enhanced security standards, and cutting-edge development frameworks. Today’s ecosystem includes the MODOC DCO application (3rd generation of MODOC), designed to deliver greater performance, improved usability, and seamless connectivity across devices and operational environments. This technological evolution ensures that the platform remains resilient, scalable, and ready to support the future of digital anti-doping operations.

A Decade of Continuous Evolution

Across ten years, MODOC has evolved in capability, usability, and scope — strengthening planning, execution, and oversight across anti-doping programs. Each major event and client deployment has contributed to refining the platform, reinforcing a cycle of learning and improvement.

After a decade of collaboration with clients and participation in the world’s most demanding sporting events, MODOC reflects the collective experience of the global anti-doping community. The journey continues, with the same commitment to operational excellence and the protection of clean sport.
