Advancing together: Sport Integrity Australia and the TDP framework

Collaborating for Smarter, Evidence-Based Testing

The last updates to the International Standard for Testing and Investigations (ISTI), and in particular the new Testing and Distribution Plan (TDP) framework, mark an important milestone in the evolution of intelligent, risk-based testing strategies across the anti-doping landscape.

As part of this transition, PWC worked together/cooperated with Sports Integrity Australia (SIA), who has taken proactive steps in exploring and working with the new MODOC TDP-model — reinforcing its continued commitment to high-quality, evidence-informed testing programs. SIA’s engagement with the updated framework contributes not only to its own operational excellence but also offers valuable insights for the broader global anti-doping community.

Introducing MODOC’s New TDP Module

In parallel, the MODOC platform has developed a dedicated TDP Module designed to support Anti-Doping Organizations in aligning with the revised ISTI requirements. This module provides a practical and structured approach to implementing the TDP framework: from defining target groups and discipline-specific risk assessments, to distributing tests strategically and monitoring performance indicators.

The collaboration with organizations like SIA highlights how shared knowledge and digital tools can help bring consistency, clarity, and strategic depth to testing programs — regardless of the organization’s size or resources.

Advancing Harmonization and Clean Sport

This is not just a software feature — it is part of a broader effort to support harmonization and long-term progress in clean sport worldwide.
